Frequently Asked Questions
What types of clothing can I send for custom orders?
What types of clothing can I send for custom orders?
For embroidery, we recommend sending denim or other thick, sturdy materials like denim jackets, canvas jackets, heavyweight sweatshirts, or workwear. These fabrics hold embroidery well and ensure a lasting design.
For prints, we recommend clothing made out of cotton and/or polyester.
We cannot accept skinny jeans, leggings, very lightweight fabrics (like silk or chiffon), or stretchy materials.
If we receive an item that isn’t eligible, we’ll refund your custom order payment and return your clothing to you.
Can you embroider over existing graphics or patches?
Can you embroider over existing graphics or patches?
We don’t recommend it. For the best results, embroidery should be applied to blank areas of your garment without existing prints, logos, or embellishments.
What size will the design be?
What size will the design be?
For embroidery, it depends on your garment:
- Tops that can be opened up (like a jacket): approx. 7” wide by 9” tall
- Tops that cannot be opened up (like a sweatshirt): approx. 7” x 7” square
- Pants full length: 3” wide by 21” tall
- Pants half length: 3" wide by 7" tall
For prints, our designs are sized with a maximum dimension of 9.5" on the longest side. This means the exact size varies by design, but each is scaled proportionally to maintain its original look.
How do you decide where to place the design?
How do you decide where to place the design?
We take care to align each design thoughtfully:
- Front of tops: 3" from the collar
- Back of tops: 4" from the collar
- Back of jackets with a yoke (a horizontal panel that extends from one shoulder seam to the other): 1” below the yoke seam
- Pants: as high on the pant leg as the pocket allows
