Our shirts about global warming and CO2 resonated on a get away to the Bahamas, wanting and needing to preserve such natural environments. And the comfort of the soft recycled cotton shirts is outstanding.

Customer photo review of the rise - embroidered large tote bag

My boyfriend and I are obsessed with this bag. It is like a bottomless pit - it fits absolutely everything! We were able to carry around 2 rain jackets, 3 bottles of wine and some other items all day around NYC with ultimate comfort. The design is stunning and the embroidery is very high quality. A few people stopped us to compliment the bag which got a great conversation started. Highly recommend!!!

Love it, a cross between a sweatshirt and long sleeve tshirt. Super soft. Great pockets. Data and art and conversations towards positive change.

I picked the Gender Pay Gap design because the pay gap affects women every day, so why not wear it on something we wear everyday? Turning a pair of jeans into a statement piece to spark conversation is a creative (and stylish!) way to call out a disparity that's often hidden in plain sight. I love that the design uses art as advocacy.

I chose the correlation because of how clearly it demonstrates that states with common sense and stronger gun laws have lower rates of gun violence - producing communities, towns, cities, and schools where everyone can live in peace and without fear. I love having it on piece of clothing I wear constantly and the conversations it leads to with friends and strangers alike.

I chose The Gap graphic because I wanted more opportunities in my day to day life to initiate conversation about the continuing fight for equal pay and equal treatment of women in our society. It can feel challenging to introduce these kinds of conversations in today's divided world... wearing this jacket will create more organic opportunities for important dialogue. An "ooo I love your jacket!" can now be a bridge to meaningful conversation with friends or with strangers. The QR code on the sleeve is awesome! It feels powerful to wear clothing that carries a message like this.

As I've followed discussions about gun violence in the U.S., I've become more aware of how government policy impacts safety around the country. What I hadn't realized was how much local legislation varies from state to state and the resulting outcomes. I chose The Correlation design because it makes this reality immediately visible. It's an issue I care about, and I believe the design that invites conversation and awareness to this urgent issue, while also standing as a striking graphic on its own

I picked the footprint design because it captures the story of how our actions have shaped the planet. This jacket is more than just something to wear - it's a reminder of the world we're leaving to our children. I hope it helps spark the awareness and action we need for a better future.

Customer photo review of the map - custom top

When I was younger, my parents had a strict rule: no toys or games that included guns. It didn't matter if it was a tiny plastic accessory for an action figure or a harmless water gun - anything resembling a firearm was off-limits. At the time, I thought they were overreacting, but now I understand their reasoning more clearly. We live in a country where gun imagery is so normalized that we have become desensitized to the real, devastating consequences of gun violence. Mass shootings have become a routine part of American life, and the map captures this grim reality. It immortalizes the preventable lives lost due to the absence of adequate gun safety laws. Thoughts and prayers are not enough. We need stricter policies and we must address this crisis with the urgency and seriousness it demands.

I work in renewable energy and am motivated by the goal of having an impact on climate emissions. But I also see in my day-to-day work how politicized the idea of climate change has become. In a lot of situations, talking about the climate is a non-starter. I like the idea that having the facts on my back can start a conversation I'd never otherwise have.

Customer photo review of the pride - custom top

This graphic isn't just about what laws have passed; it's about the message that gets sent every time one is introduced. Each piece of legislation marks a moment when someone's identity was questioned, debated, defended, or stripped away by law. It tracks more than policy; it reveals power dynamics, fear, and the ongoing struggle for belonging. It reminds me that our laws shape who feels safe, welcome, and protected. I've been fortunate to live in communities where being LGBTQ+ wasn't a big deal, but safety in one place doesn't undo injustice elsewhere. At its core, I believe this graphic asks a concise yet complicated question: whose lives are deemed acceptable?

Customer photo review of the reoccurrence - custom top

Growing up, every mass shooting felt like a singular event, each followed by a collective call for change. Unfortunately, mass shootings feel all too common today and the country is becoming more and more desensitized, despite mass shooting casualties continuing to increase. Urgent change is needed and that's why I chose the reoccurence.

Customer photo review of the surge - custom top

I chose the surge because climate change has widespread environmental, economic, and social consequences for everyone. I think it's critical to be reminded of our environmental future frequently. Plus, the design is really cool and extremely high quality. It's my new staple sweatshirt! I've already gotten to show the QR code a few times, so it's a win win.

I love the design and the story behind it. I think it's a great concept to use fashion as a way to educate people about social issues. I picked the surge because of the effect of natural disasters on my own life. My home in western NC was recently struck by hurricane Helene, the roof ripped open and the town of Chimney Rock washed away. It's important for people there to understand that this isn't just a "once in a lifetime" storm, but that natural disasters are on the rise due to climate change. I love that I get to wear a cool looking infographic, and instead of explaining the data behind it, I can just show the QR code to anyone interested

Wearing my Illuminated Threads embroidered jacket, I feel empowered and part of a community. I'm passionate about lots of social justice issues. Sometimes when talking to others about these topics I don't have all the facts. This graph contextualizes the high number of climate disasters we see in the headlines. I can confidently say to others, "Yes! Our climate is changing." So many of these disasters are affecting those who don't emit as much carbon gas emission as others. As a country and as communities, we need to start taking responsibility for our carbon footprint especially in our supply chains.

As someone working in food retail and passionate about sustainable food systems, I wear this design as a reminder that our food supply is directly impacted by weather patterns and increasingly vulnerable due to the rise in natural disasters. We shouldn't only discuss the effects of extreme weather when bad things happen. Proactivity and resilience must to be incorporated into every decision we make.

Something im super vocal about it financial transparency. We should be sharing how much we make, how we manage finances, how we grow them. Not enough women are discussing this, and it leads to even further disparity over time. This sweatshirt is like a formal invitation to talk about this topic

I am a teacher I used to teach in public schools but now teach convicted felons in a prison setting. In schools we had to do active shooter drills every quarter. I am safer in prison than in public schools as far as gun violence is concerned. There are other, different threats in prison, but gun violence is unlikely.

The large gray tote with the gender pay gap design was a perfect gift for my sister-in-law! The bag is made from a smooth, lightweight material - both practical and attractive - and the gray background supports the bright colors of the design nicely. The order was processed quickly, and I received the bag promptly. I look forward to giving more of these bags to family and friends!
